Where most people will ask "why?" Storm asks "Why not?"
The question is generally rhetorical as he does not usually let mere ethicality or morality get in the way of a good idea. He enjoys showing off, especially if it means he can show everyone that he can outdo someone in something, and frequently acts like he's God's own gift to the planet. He's not, however, particularly brave and prefers to avoid conflict altogether. While he certainly has his fair share of oddities, and may often come off as a jerk or egoist, he does care for his friends, and will not hesitate to show it when it matters most.

Storm tends to believe that all of society's problems can be resolved so long as ideas can be developed free of outside constraints. This is understandable, as Storm is a never-ending font of ideas. Even when he isn't consciously working on one of his projects or even when he's in the middle of a fight, new ideas are the background noise of his mind. Storm thinks so much, he sometimes causes his brain to overload with ideas, often leaving any form of comprehensible speech behind when such happens. He looks forward to a time when military demands no longer frame his creative output. Storm believes he is smarter than you. Yeah, you. He doesn't utterly require you to know this and acknowledge him! It's just important for your sake that you acknowledge his vast intellect and big words! Also, look at this stuff he just built, phwoar, aren't those weapons he made so shocking and edgy? Also, he's better than everyone, honest. Underneath this braggado, Storm is... still boastful and a truly dodgy geezer, and a bit of a coward. His weapons have indeed killed an untold number in horrifying ways. Despite that, he does hold his (very few) friends dear to him and tries his hardest to hold onto them, and despite his job, somehow he's gone years without ever actually taking a life himself. And deep down, he really just wishes someone who barely knew him had loved him.
