Jasper is a somewhat renowned author who travels the world to write his novels. He first met the group at the Center and invited them over for tea at the place he was staying at the time, and after a talk he decided to join the team. During his time traveling around Johto and Kanto he served his place on the team quite well with both his status and power.
The man is quite silly goofy and is a constant flirt to people which can sometimes get him and the team in trouble. As a champion, Jasper still spends his time writing his many books but has ultimatley settled down and does not travel as much. He also sometimes helps the other Ampharos in Olivine if they need assistance in lighting up the lighthouse.
