Tom

so hi this is my newest fursona. its a furry version of Thomas 'Tom' Wambsgans from the tv show Succession on HBO. sooo this is Tom (he/him) and he's a silly lil kitty cat. he's like 48 years old and about 6'3. Tom is the (very new) CEO of a company called Waystar Royco, basically like a fictionalized version of 20th Century Fox and Fox News (HES NOT like a bigot I promise he just likes being rich. which. is not much better). he's married to a woman (daughter of the original founder of Waystar. lol) but you maybe wouldn't know it based on how he interacts with his assistant Greg Hirsch (the black borzoi in his inventory and most of the reference images i included). they're gay. I might make a ref for Greg too so stay tuned ig.

Tom is super hard to read. like as a person. to any passive observer, especially when he's at work, he seems like a pretty simple and nice guy. maybe a little inept but harmless! that's definitely how his wife and her family saw him for the longest time. and he kind of puts that persona on not really to dupe anybody but just to fit in? 

it's rlly complicated but he's more or less his true self when he's with Greg. he's bitchy, controlling, a bit of a bully, and a bit of a tyrant. he's pretty emotionally and even physically abusive to Greg but like he never hurts him anymore than a typical bully would hurt their target, yknow? jus kinda beats him around a bit for being underneath him on the social ladder. its ok though Greg kinda likes it. 

Tom is desperate for power and will (symbolically) bury anybody to get it, even his wife. not Greg tho for some reason its like they're in love or something. he wasnt born into immediate wealth which is a part of the reason he's been desperate for money and power. but under all that tyrannical energy is a guy who himself has been bullied and stepped on for being an outsider so he's rlly just taking his feelings out on Greg because he sees a part of himself in him (PUN NOT INTENDED UH)

dislikes:

• his wife. its complicated
• large handbags
• being lied to or betrayed, happens too much to him
• weed but he's just a hater cuz Greg does it
• when Greg calls him “Tommy”
