Cas is your average mail courier for the Blue Pegasus Mailing Guild. He's generally known for his upbeat personality and eagerness to go the extra mile for those on his delivery route. This, of course, is a front for his real self- a reserved and somewhat shy man who took on the job not for the people or the danger- but to travel. In truth, Cas only joined Blue Pegasus, a guild that requires all employees be trained and able to hold their own in a fight to prevent theft and losses, because his mother damn near forced him to after he showed interest in it. He would not have done it on his own, but he does genuinely love his job- even if it means having to fight off or sneak past highway robbers from time to time. Cas is absolutely a coward and would much rather surrender than fight over loose mail- but is more scared of displeasing his 'customers' then picking up his blade.

Caspian was born to his mother, a human guard captain named Maraya, and his father- an elven trophy husband named Basil who runs a local store. Growing up a half-elf, Caspian lived with his two siblings (an older sister named Reyka, and a younger sister named Erryn). in a nice home. Two weeks prior to campaign start, one of his deliveries went awry and exploded on him when he was jumped by highway robbers a little more planned and experienced than any he'd encountered before. When he woke up from the explosion, he was in a healing temple- with blue skin and white cloudish hair. Cas being the 'professional' he is chooses to hide the stress that incident caused him, as well as hiding the large and still very painful scar on his chest. Caspian might be a notorious people-pleaser, but he's also a good liar- and hides his trauma well.
