Miasma was born in Koran, within it's desert regions. He was raised from the dead by Sir Donovan, who found him in the tomb of his father and brought him out to keep as a pet. Miasma was a strange creature, but fit well with Donovan, who was similarly undead. For a while he was kept by Donovan’s side, a loyal guard and pet, until he was brought back to the desert by Donovan and given the task of protecting the many rich tombs, underground strongholds, and ruins that were built and abandoned in the desert. He remains Sir Donovan’s loyal pet and familiar, able to come at his call from no matter the distance, but is most always found in the desert. Many fear him as he is often considered a mythical monster, with a reputation of being a deadly guard of any tomb. His twisting black sand head is held together by magic and lashes out at any enemies who come near. When peaceful though he is mostly just a playful creature, hyper intelligent and curious. He is able to talk and transform into a more human like form after having received blessings from several of the desert deities and gods, but rarely does so as he prefers to be seen as a pet.
