"Pippin Dear is Welcome Home's handiest neighbour and is always on hand to help around Home, fixing up anything their neighbours need. Pippin is quick to remind Eddie about the day's deliveries, along with cleaning up after him, when they're not tinkering with toys of course!"

Pippin is from the same distant town as Eddie, being his younger sibling. Despite the fact that Pippin is the most heedful of the two, they also never stated the correct name of where the two came from. Eddie would sometimes poke fun at Pippin because of this.

Pippin was only mentioned by Eddie in earlier episodes as "my younger sibling" with their gender being switched from episode to episode. It is unsure if this is because of writing errors or whether, originally, Eddie was meant to have two siblings. Additionally, in the show they were only ever referred by name so it's still unknown what gender Pippin was meant to be.

The first episode they featured in was a special episode titled "Family Visit". The episode revolved around the neighbours meeting Pippin, asking about their memories with Eddie. Julie, Barnaby and Howdy share family stories too. Wally states that his family is right here while looking at the camera as the episode ends. Julie is heard saying "Aww Wally!" as the credits begin rolling. In this episode Pippin also mentions that their unnamed mother cannot come, to which neither Eddie or Pippin really react, nor does she come up again in later episodes at all.

Pippin's involvement in the series is still fairly unknown, with them having only featuring in episodes sporadically, mainly specials. In one interview, on a chat show, Wally specifies that "the viewer sent a letter, they wanted to meet Eddie's sibling" and the episode that aired after was "Family Visit". It is unclear if this was used as publicity or just coincidental.

It also appears as though Pippin's puppet in the show was made of spare parts from early prototypes of the other neighbours, such as Wally's shoes, Eddie's tie and Julie's style of trousers.
