Mercutio is an easily excitable, boisterous bean who never fails to rise to a challenge. He often gets himself into dangerous situations to show his bravado off to others, and it has resulted in many unique scars peppering his feathered fur, which he is very proud of. Mercutio loves a good party, and he tends to be a bit too much for other less outgoing beans to hang out with. But Mercutio, it seems, revels in his own company enough to not mind.
