Briarcreek's past as a loner had been forgotten by many cats, especially since she was a Howlspire Colony cat before she came to join Storm Surge Colony of her own accord. Although switching and moving place to place is highly uncommon, Briarcreek had been welcomed in, her pragmatic and conscientious comportment being highly attractive in a cat.

She found her footing in Storm Surge Colony, liking the independence and ideations that each individual had that could be spokenly openly without pushback. Logistics aside, strength factored into something being taken into seriously as words were backed up by claws as well. Briarcreek had found it somewhat backwards, but had simmering thoughts to help refocus and better the colony she decided to stay with.

Briarcreek had become close to Elkdance, finding the large tomcat cute to fluster and tease time to time. They consider each other close, reliable friends and when the time came for Briarcreek to want to have kits, Elkdance had agreed to father the litter. When Bearkit and Cloverkit were born, Briarcreek had held high hopes for her litter. In her eyes, her kits were perfect and would become capable warriors for the colony. She started training them as soon as they showed interest in wanting to learn, perfecting and giving them advice for their hunting crouches, pounces, and stalking.

After her kits became apprentices, Briarcreek started to set her sights on deputyship as the deputy had fallen ill and she would've liked to be in a position to help Blossomstar make decisions for the colony. Being a more peaceable cat Briarcreek believed in toning down the colony's bit for tussles. When the time came for warriors to challenge each other for deputyship, Briarcreek had lost against Tempesthowl, as what was supposed to be a peaceful, moving speech of what the colony could become with her as deputy being interrupted by Tempesthowl.

Briarcreek harbors dislike for Tempesthowl, thinking that the other molly is creeping up on her niche in the colony. She had stolen away Elkdance's friendship and closeness, and now her bid for deputyship? If she didn't have the morals she did, she'd challenge Tempesthowl in a brawl.
