Pyrus Lunet

Pyrus has numerous certifications in various fields of magic, from enchantments to divination - too bad they're all forged. His quick learning, knack for magic and silver tongue has let Pyrus live a lie, scamming rich people out of money for fraudulent services. Aside from deceit, Pyrus enjoys wine-tasting, embroidery and travelling, making his life on the run perfect. Although, he is most definitely going to jail for a very, very long time if he gets caught.

Originally from a poor background, his intelligence won him a scholarship to a prestigious boarding school. Pyrus was originally enthusiastic about this chance to win him and his family a better lot in life by learning the finest of magic, but he soon realised that even with a scholarship, his affluent peers would always have more advantages than him, from tutors to better materials. Disillusioned by the bias against him from teachers and mistreatment from his classmates, Pyrus decided to ditch his life and run off to live freely. (Not before stealing his classmate's prized enchanted suitcase, though, which is where Pyrus keeps his entire household when he's travelling.) Now he assumes many personas and lives a relatively lavish lifestyle with his victims' money.

Trivia:

• He embroidered his cape himself. He embroiders his fine collection of cloak-jackets on long train rides when he bounces cities.
• Pyrus isn't his real name. He knows it means 'pear' and regrets choosing it in a heat of the moment situation. He'll change it soon enough, though.
• His list of crimes involves a lot of library book theft.
• He carries around a small baby name book for his fake identities.
