Born to a Quirkless Japanese policeman and an American servicewoman with Super Strength, Nanashi stuck out like a sore thumb from a young age, and not because he possessed any promising or fantastic Quirk of his own.

 Positive Character Traits

► Intensely humanitarian and deeply empathetic. Even though his boisterous and naive personality has won him few personal friends, Nanashi's entire life revolves very strongly around the genuine desire to help other people. He wanted to be a Hero when he was a boy, and that desire to save other people from sadness or harm - regardless of the threat to his own well-being - didn't abate in the slightest, even when he found out that he was Quirkless.
► Resilient! Nanashi can [and frequently does] take a solid beating, then get right back on his feet and keep on fighting back. This resilience is owed not to a Quirk, but to the fact that Nanashi is both very fit, and very well-practiced at the art of getting his ass kicked. He has developed a high pain tolerance.
► Idealistic, and determined to see his positive ideals brought to life.

 Negative Character Traits

► Has absolutely NO sense of self preservation. It's not that he doesn't know damn well that he could die in the line of duty, when he throws himself between powerful Villains and helpless civilians. It's that he sincerely believes in the concept of Noble Self-Sacrifice.
► SUPER naive. He's big on believing that there's goodness in pretty much EVERYBODY, and this can make him painfully easy to mislead or manipulate, if he gives his trust to the wrong people.
