Dislikes: Bullies, being called Katy or Katydid, his kin

Bio: As soon as Laney was born, he had a rough life. His mom gave birth to one kit. One puny, sickly kit. She hated him from the start, even giving him a puny name, Katydid, which means ladybug. When Laney was old enough to walk, she abandoned him on the sidewalk, in Twolegplace. Life was difficult; he was attacked by foxes, raccoons, hawks and other cats, and he faced starvation quite often. Most of the time, he was scrambling and learning how to climb up walls as he raced from killers and bullies. He hated himself. He hated life. So he ran to the forest to hide from the world. What he didn't know was that there were cats - clan cats - in the forest. A group of ThunderClan apprentices discovered him; but instead of teasing him, they were respectful to the now-adult cat. They asked for his name. He would never admit his name was Katydid, so he threw something out from the top of his head. I was always running down lanes. Lane. Laney, he thought. He didn't care that it was weird, because now the black cat was happy. He had made some friends. So that's what the tom did; from that day on, he went around the clans, making new friends.
