Badger is my current roleplay character in an Instagram clan, which is Bloodclan (and a pretty good one at that)
Her old clan was Rillclan, and before that, she was a loner - living with her mother, Fran.
Fran wasn't too fond of kits and it was very unfortunate that she would have some of her own. Being left by her mate (who took one kit of their litter of two) added on to her bitterness. She never let Badger, then called Tessa, forget that she couldn't care less about the kit, even telling her what she had to say mattered very little to anyone. Badger grew awkward and shy to speak with others, failing at communication.
She thought Rillclan would help, even the kit she adopted, but nothing did. And so, she left a couple moons later in the dead of night, wandering until she found unknown land. Badger stumbled into Bloodclan territory then was caught and attacked, leading her to beg for her life - to join them. Fearful, she was able to shed her shy exterior, growing a bit bolder, but due to having no company in what she deemed a hell hole, she spoke little and couldn't build up proper communication skills - her words are hesitant and she may pause between them (which I demonstrate through "..." ellipses).
As well, she did take up an interest in medicine, a path she initially wanted to follow in Rillclan. Although, Bloodclan cared not for the well-being of one another, therefore a medicine cat was of little importance - even the mere mention of one angered the current leader, Snipe.
The mistreatment of rookies [apprentices] led to one by the name of Bewick presumably falling victim to a disease [rabies]. Cursing Snipe, he fled, only to return moons later and lead to the divide of Bloodclan. Cats who left Bloodclan to join Bewick's righteous side became outcasts, and Badger was included. There, she found out that she had family closer than they appeared - Spider and Anubis. She learned to love them dearly, as they were her only blood relatives left. Even after Spider betrayed them, handing over Bewick to Bloodclan (due to the belief that the tom had been killing Bloodclan cats and leaving behind disfigured prey), Badger still cared for him. The same couldn't be said for an angry Anubis (recently mated to Bewick) who took on the position of leading the band of outcasts against their former group.
Initially, Badger wasn't keen on being the bait in their plan, but it just felt liberating once she was out there keeping the clan away from the grand face-off between Snipe and Bewick, using her agility to strike and dodge every chance she got. In the end, Snipe was killed by a rabid fox (the true culprit to the murders) and Bewick stood to take over the leadership of Bloodclan. Anyone still loyal to Snipe became prisoners. Now, with so many injured felines, Badger's knowledge is put to the test...
