                                Gideon Locke

gregariousfinedutchshepherddog_max_1mb_bmid- 30s, cold, introverted, precise, messy, has a love-hate relationship with music, vampiric, learning to be considerate

His affinity is Impulse, which serves his business well when it seeps out to others but can make him do unpredictable things when he is overwhelmed.

Outwardly he is the dapper and charming gentleman owner of the gaming hell Lovely Poison name pending that allows you to bet on everything from horses and cards, to your life.  Inwardly he is the product of a childhood of neglect and stubbornness.

He has low social stamina (his majordomo handles most matters) and often retreats to his study to recharge and escape other persons. Whores (there are many in the club of course) and children (rarer) are his worst enemies, as they are the most likely to touch him casually. Though it may seem out of character to most, he has once before screamed when an icy unsolicited hand touched him. His hobby is composing music, something that his parents were incredibly skilled at, and was unfortunately passed to him. He has a compulsion to finish a particular score, as much as he hates it. when he was a child, he was never as important to them as music was. He excelled in his musical studies for their attention, and then shunned those same creatives when their affection never deepened. He considered his parents music to be their true child that he must always be measured against, and he grew to hate the legacy.

At his breaking point, with a child's petulant nature, he refused to let anyone touch him. he refused to bathe, to change dress, to eat. All in a ploy to capture his parents attention. Surely if he was in danger, if his need was great enough, they would love him then. instead his parents held firm in their passions. His mother simply told him he was too old to be acting this childish and returned to her work. Shock and hurt beat out hunger for a bit longer until he dragged himself through the necessary paces of being alive. But he would never again allow someone to touch him.

And he would never forgive the music.
