☰ BACKSTORY ☰ Zhu was the youngest in his academic year at school, he was short and chubby and generally didn't feel he had a lot going for himself. It was a weakness that many of the other kids at Aquamarine Academy could see through - in particular this snarky bright-box known as Darius McConnell. Throughout their adolescence Darius and Alistair repeatedly butted heads. Despite being smart, Darius wasn't the strongest and would always lose in a fight against Alistair, who would lose control and often beat the kid to a pulp. Eventually Darius would learn his lesson and back off, but Alistair was never quite able to let his guard down in this formative years of his life.He completed his studies in business management and went on to become the CEO of a property company in Novus. He made an honest living this way and met his to-be-wife Lindsey and eventually had his daughter Annabel. Life was finally looking how he wanted it to. Five years to the present day, the landscape of Novus changed drastically. The arrival of a new property conglomerate by the name of Sunshine Homes - a company he would later discover was owned by The Doloriak - put Zhu's company out of business, and the world began to crumble. For a few more years his family struggled on under his savings. Lindsey's job as a nurse required her to get a new Xytosystem installed and Annabel had one to augment her studies, but Alistair could never shake the uneasy feeling those microchips gave him. During this time of hardship and scepticism, Zhu discovered the Shadow District and took on a new leadership role to help others in a similar situation to him - which would eventually develop into him finding himself as their "President". During this time he meets Cassian McConnell and instantly recognises the name. Knowing full-well that she is the daughter of his childhood nemesis now turned maniac Xyto-Physicist, but seeing the potential in her and wanting to be the bigger person, he offers her a job as his Vice-President. From there, the rest is history. Zhu's life, which was just getting back on-track, turned upside down once more by the very same man - he'll be damned if he doesn't find a way to show Darius who's the stronger of the two just one more time... ☰ PERSONALITY ☰ Alistair is a stern but caring and understanding individual, a real perpetuator of "tough love".
