Al owns a Funeral Home and he is the Head Funeral Director. Rosie and Dorian are also Funeral Directors, but Dorian is usually the one that prepares/ dresses the body, while Al and Rosie will take take of the rest.
Poe is an albino vampire bat and he is Al's familiar. Rosie and Dorian have familiars as well, they are named Larkspur and Casper (they are coming soon).
All three of them were born vampires and they are from the House of the Feline. They have the abilities of a vampire and a cat along with a special ability that is mostly unique to them due to them being from long lines of natural-born vampires. Al's special ability is magic, Rosie's special ability is pain absorption, and Dorian's special ability is nightmare form.
Al is unspecified white, Rosie is French, and Dorian is British, but their vampirism makes their skin, hair, and eye color different than what is typical for humans. Al speaks English, Spanish, French, Dutch, and Russian. Rosie speaks French and English. Dorian speaks English and is learning French. Al was born in the US while Rosie was born in France and Dorian was born in the UK. Rosie moved to the US when she was 4 years old and Dorian moved to the US when he was 8 years old. They all currently reside in the US.
Al and Rosie are married while Dorian is their long-term boyfriend, they are in a closed polyamorous relationship, and they live on the second floor of the Funeral Home. Al is omnisexual, Rosie is heterosexual, and Dorian is bisexual.
Rosie has a few small moles, one of near the inner corner of her right eye, one underneath the right corner of mouth, and one on her left breast. Al has small mole on his left cheek. They all have ear piercings while Dorian also has snake bite lip piercings and left eyebrow piercing. They do wear make-up and nail polish as well.
Most would assumed that they are in the triple digits, but they are actually in their early 60s.
Al is 6'8", Rosie is 5'4", and Dorian is 5'10".
Al is composed, charismatic, and confident. He carries himself with confidence and a hard-to-read expression. He speaks with a deep and reassured voice. Al gives off an intimidating aura, but for the most part he is nonconfrontational and prefers not to cause harm. He does, however, possess the strength and will to handle a physical altercation, but he prefers to use his words to get the other person to back down. Other things to note about Al is that he very doting and tends to spoil his partners and his/ their familiars. He has a bunch of nicknames for his partners and rarely uses their actual names. Like his facial expression, his ears and tail rarely give any expression.
Rosie is bubbly, empathic, and a little scatterbrained. She walks with a hop in step and pleasant expression on her face. She speaks with a fast-paced and high-pitched voice. Rosie is nonconfrontational and is usually able to put anyone at ease, but if she was to be involved in a physical altercation, she would most likely cry and try to get away. Other things to note about Rosie is that she takes care of stray cats that live in the neighborhood, she ensures that they are fixed, up-to-date on their vaccinations, fed, and just generally taken care of. She will also help out any other animal that is in need. She likes to "steal" Al and Dorian's shirts and jackets and wear them around the house, finding them more cozier than her own clothes. She is like an open book and even if she tries to hide what she's feeling, her facial expression, ears, and/ or tail will give her away.
Dorian is loyal, short-tempered, and devious. He usually carries himself as a meek gentleman, but when he is enraged, the way he carries himself changes, one with malice and determination. He will usually speak like a meek gentleman, but similar to how he carries himself, when he is enraged, how he speaks changes to something more surly and venomous. Most assume that it's Al that you have to watch out for, but in reality, it is Dorian one should watch out for. He presents himself as a meek gentleman and for the most part he is, but when someone crosses him and/ or his love ones, he becomes enraged and malicious with the determination to seek revenge, so while at first he seems to be nonconfrontational, he very much is not. Other things to note about Dorian is that he is deeply protective of his love ones and if they were ever to be crossed/ hurt, he would be driven mad until he is able to take revenge. He is an expert tailor and has an eye for fashion. He typically make clothes for himself and his love ones, but he has made clothes and donated them. Sometimes he is like an open book, but he has gotten better at hiding his anger/ other negative emotions.
Poe is just a little guy that loves to get attention from Al, Larkspur is a little ankle-biter, and Casper is a sweet little guy that just wants to be friends.
