An idol in a world of tech. She sings and dances in the night sky only, where the spotlights and neon shine brightest.
Prisma the Butterfly is an idol that performs all around the world, or so it is advertised. Like many idols going on world tours, there are specific cities across the world in which she performs. They are all high end tech metropolises, but that is the only hint as to where she might go next. Some of the cities are not even expensive to live in, drawing question as to what her criteria even is. There definitely does seem to be a pattern, as a lot of the cities seem to have a lot of blue in them... Many speculate these are just her favourite cities to perform in.
Intro
Prisma is a very elusive individual. She is always on the big screens and jumbotrons of particular cities, but never makes any public appearances. There is speculation that she is not even a real person. But rather, a hologram, whose producer is a tech company. Not an actual person. However, these claims are neither confirmed nor denied. In fact, they are never even adressed...
Personality
Prisma, as a result of her hidden nature, comes off as secretly shy, despite being open and confident in her performances. She is very direct, and stays for as long as possible in the concert stage. Seeming to like the company of her fans. However, since she never shows up outside of them, no one knows what she is actually like. Whether she is secretly shy or not is up for debate. But those who truly know her know that she's actually really introverted.
Story
Prisma's performances are a light in the sky; a glimmer of hope during the civil war of the Eggman Empire. This robot uprising and conquest caused by Neo Metal Sonic's rebellion struck fear into the people. Fear that technology is monstruous. That it may take over the world, for good. Prisma advocates against that, and promises that this is not the case.
Truthfully... Prisma actually has a side in this war. Her role is to be a front on Neo Metal Sonic's side. Her songs advocating for freedom that the people so cherish... Are actually sentiments shared by this very overlord...

- Antennae are multicoloured, with the blue being a highlight colour!
- Glasses are crown-shaped!

- Don't forget the cybernetic antennae of the headgear!
- Shoulder section of sleeves are pointy and triangular, like a business suit's!
- Boots go up to mid thigh, not knee length!

- Sharon Apple is a big inspiration for the character's role, style, and song. Both of them sing for a mechanical army.
- This was one of my first Sonic designs post hiatus from the fandom.
- All of the cities that she sings at are Neo Metal Sonic's territory, which is why she is most often seen in Grand Metropolis.
