He's just trying to make sense of people, life and find a way to help others.  Judgmental, curious, protective of the few he deems worthy. Likes people watching, being around other people, worry stones (has a small collection of them, his favorite actually made of amber,) trees, little trinkets, journalling. Really messed up but he's working with Eithne to help her find who is behind a string of attempted kidnappings and murders. 

It was him, of course. 

He was faced with a lot of negative experiences at a young age, when he heard the expression 'that man/woman is sick and twisted' he took it literally. He knows it's not supposed to be taken literally, but he's hellbent on curing whatever makes people so terrible, even if that means human test subjects. He just can't grasp that humans will do bad things of their own free will.
