MICTLAN
Mictlan is the Arvard of the Exile of Souls (Rai'Hijiri) and is the one in charge. They lead the war against the Thousand Wings Guard and they are Tilly's worst enemy. They want nothing more than peace.

About
Personality
Mictlan is known for their difficult personality. In one minute, they are caring of the people they cherish but in the next minute, they snap at them, judging them to the core of their very being. Mictlan is in a constant state of anxiety and stess, makign them very close-minded and only seeing one way, even if there are many. Mictlan cannot stand if someoen disagrees with them - especially if it's about war method or any critique to them. By that, they can and will get violent to disguise their weak and broken self. At all, Mictlan knows they are weak and insecure, so therefore Mictlan acts in extreme and questionable ways in order to intimidate and frighten the enemy - feeding their paranoia.
Some of their actions are skinning the leader's boyfriend and wearing his skin; ordering the death of a newborn infant out of fear it could murder Mictlan in the future and torture of own companions.

Mictlan is the villain of the third novel of the The Guard of A Thousand Wings Trilogy "Stormborn". They are the leader of the Exile Of Souls and usurper of Fiya'Anathi. Mictlan manipulated the ones they care about (or see as useful), so they would stay with them and support anything they will do. By this, they hoped to finally become the first choice - and be finally have a place to belong and to call their own. Valentin killed Mictlan by pushing te blade of a sword into their throat and freeing Fiya'Anathi of their rulership.
PAST
Mictlan has been chosen last in any sort of circumstances their whole life. Even in their own family. As the younger child, Mictlan's brother was the golden one, the responsible one. Mictlan was completely different from their family. They were clumsy, weak and didn't seem to know their spot in the world.
However, after Mictlan and their brother got into an accident where a tree slammed down to them, it missed Mictlan and killed their brother. Even after this, Mictlan's family blamed them for their death, for not helping even though their brother had died in an instant. This made Mictlan realize how much unwanted they were.
However, Mictlan made the decision to compete as a successor of the Deity of Death - chosen by Ojas. However, Mictlan never made it. They trained very hard but failed year for year, leading to Ojas amusing himself over Mictlan's pathetic tries and kicking them out. Mictlan finally had enough and decided to take the place they felt was theirs - and murdered Ojas, the god of Death and became the new Deity of Death.
Due to that, war errupted. Tilly, leader of the Blades of Eternity and wife of Ojas, rebelled against Mictlan`s rulership. However, Tilly was pregnant to that time. And Mictlan knew, they had to kill the child of Ojas' and Tilly because they feared the child would try to revenge their killed parents and mean the death of Mictlan. Therefore, Mictlan ordered Eryl, their successor, to kill the infant two weeks after it was born. Eryl seemly followed the order and leaving Mictlan with a fullfilled future ahead of them.

BLACK FLAMES
Mictlan's strongest deity ability. They trained this exact ability for hundreds of years to optimize it. With their flames, they can create wormholes out of fire (which was used in the Final Battle to capture Tsawa) and fire walls, same as fire rings. Mictlan's black flames are feared. Only this deity ability of theirs gets amplified if their amirai (Eryl) dies.
AMIRAI CREATION
Mictlan has the ability to turn humanoid mixed souls into amirai by breaking the kaihi of the person. By that, they can claim the now-created amirai and use its power - even powers of the primal force.
CLOUD COVER
Mictlan can create a cover out of clouds to protect their home and places. It can contain poisinous amounts and blinds the enemy due to the thick cover.

Relationships
ERYL [ Brother's child ]
The only person in the world they trust. Eryl went through everything together with Mictlan (even though they didn't know it was fake for some part). Eryl was their advisor. However, due to both Eryl and Mictlan having a lack of boundries and since they both never learned how to interact with another people correctly, they have a strange relationship with each other. The way they interact with each other can be interpreted as romantic despite their very close family relation. They are dependent on each other and search physical comfort in each other, such as leaning onto each other. Eryl is also the only one being allowed to refer to Mictlan with "Micah", underlining their problematic relationship and the lack of understanding of biological family and boundries.
Mictlan lost all control after Ortensia - Eryls sister, the infant Eryl was supposed to murder but lied he did it - killed Eryl.
TILLY[ nemesis ]

PHOENIX[ enemy ]
Mictlan's current and last enemy. They have a deep hatred against Phoenix due to him disturbing Mictlan's self-imagined peace. Phoenix disturbed their peace by searching for a place to live with the rest of the population after Mictlan was the one destroying it. However, they feared Phoenix and their Guard a lot since they reminded Mictlan on their past nemesis, Tilly.
They went to war to try to defeat them, and even though Mictlan managed to murder Phoenix, they still lost.
