Artorias is part of Cassieopeia's guard within the scout division.
He is one of the few guards allowed to exit the floating city to travel the lands below on important business or to find straying Seraphs that lost their way or attempted to run away.
He's not overly confident in his own abilities at all times as he has been ridiculed a majority of his life for being of the bloodline that is frowned upon in their lands. (A descendant of Thorns, a 'legend' that those liked to claim was a cursed or evil bloodline)
Despite this, he does his best at what he does and is a force to be reckoned with.
His main rival is Griffith (another of my Seraphs), whom is the biggest instigator of threats and hate toward Arty.
He has few friends but those he does know are held dear and protected with his life.
