History

Frecklekit was born within WindClan's Camp, along with their brother Dapplekit. Their mother named Deerbreeze. Their father having lost his life before he could even meet his kits. It was at this time that Deerbreeze chose to stay as a queen to help the other queens and future kits. Throughout Frecklekit's kithood, they and their brother were two polar opposites. Freckle liked to play and be silly, while it seemed that Dapple was so focused on being just like his father, a proud warrior. Wanting to raise in the ranks and become the leader of the clan.

By the time for the kits to be made apprentices, the two were planned to become tunnelers for the clan. Neither one of them seemed to have an issue with it. Their mother and father both used to be tunnelers. Although it was then, when the leader announced that Frecklepaw would train as a runner. Expressing that she had the makings of a fine runner. Dapplepaw was outraged that his sibling seemed to be getting some special treatment. It was here that Dapplepaw began to resent Frecklepaw more and more.

Frecklepaw was given to another runner as a mentor, their name Harestride. He was a laid back tom who seemed to have a free and easy personality. He didn't go around chasing after Frecklepaw when they were avoiding any of their duties. At times he seemed to encourage it. Claiming that he liked to feed their curiosity. Out on patrols when Frecklepaw would get distracted he'd join them explaining things if he knew about them. It was also Harestride who taught them about making flower crowns and using flowers in accessories.

Over time, Frecklepaw felt more and more uncomfortable as their birth sex. Once again it was Harestride who they went to. Harestride told Frecklepaw about his brother, who was born a molly but decided that he was a tom. Frecklepaw thought about this for many hours, days and weeks. Even taking time to talk to Harestride's brother. It was from here Frecklepaw decided that he was a molly. Taking a moment to tell Harestride and Deerbreeze. Trying to tell Dapplepaw, but it seemed he was too busy to listen.

As time passed Frecklepaw passed her training, and was named Frecklerush, for her enthusiasm and her speed. The leader making a comment that they were right, that Freckle would make a fine Runner. In the same breath, Dapplepaw was also made a warrior, named Dapplefoot. Freckle congratulated her brother, but he turned and disregarded her praise.

Moons passed and Frecklerush continued to work hard as a warrior, often at times taking times to run along the moors, making flower accessories. And racing the other runners. For her, she couldn't imagine being a tunneler. It felt like being a runner was something she was destined to become. She still talks a lot to Harestride and her mother. But it seemed that her brother just never had the time to speak to her at all.

She wasn't much older when she was made a mentor herself. Given a young apprentice called Hollypaw. He was a energetic tom who had little to no attention. Someone that Frecklerush could very much appreciate. Frecklerush, like her mentor before her, fueled his curiosity and used helped him put his energy to good use. The two made a good team and during a border skirmish, Hollypaw proved that he was ready to be made a warrior. He was made a warrior early, earning the name Hollyspark.

It wasn't long till the need for a new runner deputy was needed. And Frecklerush was named the new deputy. Many of the clan congratulated her, all except her brother, who seemed to be seething with frustration and anger. Deerbreeze and Harestride came to her and congratulated her personally.
