An angel that has been living among mortals for as long as he can remember, Haniel is more well-acquainted with the pains and struggles of a physical being's ordinary life than the usual angel. Spending so long around humans may not only be the cause behind his growing nihilism, but also the way in which he learned to drown his sorrows in any ephemeral earthly pleasure available to him. He blames himself for his inability to make a meaningful positive change, and is desperate to fulfill this purpose even if it means going against his own values. He is an extremely self indulgent person with low emotional temperance, but doing his job properly is the most important.
