Mr Gray

Mr. Gray is a former object camp competitor scouring through universes to gain the ability to rid of all object camps entirely. Having realized that object camps involve different universes and purposefully isolate them instead of bringing them together for the competition, Mr. Gray has made it his goal to get rid of the premise of obejct camps and bring all universes together one way or another. Basically, an existential crisis.

Mr. Gray is accompanied by the host of the object camp he was competing in and his universe of origin, Green Shelly, who has given him his copy of the Multiversal Orb, an artifact that all object camp hosts acquire when their competition starts. Said Multiversal Orb can bring the one who wields it straight to other universes, observe worlds without visitng them directly, and many other multiverse related abilities. He then unknowingly uses it to get to the world of Back to Business, where he found a computer that belonged to one of the hosts that bestowed him the knowledge of multiple universes and gave him his goal. Mr. Gray kept on competing in Back to Business for a short while until he figures out that his orb has been mysteriously destroyed, and in a fit of rage, throws it into the ground where it continuously transports him and Green Shelly throughout multiple universes until they land in one world in particular.

This is where he meets Finley Matchlinks, a small candle with a green flame that had also coincidentally been competing in Back to Business. Mr. Gray uses this as an opportunity to recruit Finley for his cause, showing him the truth of object camps separating universes from each-other. Finley obliges, joining Mr. Gray in his quest, and as they are completing their task given by the hosts of BTB in Finley's Universe, Mr. Gray eventually unveils his orb, which still appears to be broken. Finley, however, proposes a different idea to travel through worlds, as his universe's way of death is when someone dies, they're taken to a mysterious place with a radio with coordinates one can enter to go into different universes. Here, they meet Gearz, Finley's child, or moreso creation, who has a special ability to find out the specific coordinates for certain universes with almost perfect accuracy. Gearz is happy to help Mr. Gray and the others, as he shows the coordinates to where Mr. Gray and Green Shelly want to go next, another universe belonging to yet another competitor of BTB, Scribble.

However, when they enter the universe, it appears that they've went to the wrong one, despite Gearz's usually perfect accuracy. However, this would prove to be extremely helpful, as they've found themselves in another BTB competitor's universe, Spellbook. Having told Spellbook the same info he gave Finley, Mr. Gray spends a little time in her universe and even helps her with the current BTB challenge as the camp is still going, which is to find one of their former co-hosts, Monitor. However, eventually he accidentally reveals his broken orb, in which Spellbook realizes how damaged it is and uses her magic to repair the Multiversal Orb. Despite it taking a long time and a lot of effort, the orb is fixed and even enhanced with Spellbook's magic, and Mr. Gray uses it to complete the BTB Challenge as he goes into Monitor's universe of origin where they have a conversation. Monitor reveals that the other three hosts he was working with didn't give him any purpose, and he felt like he was being cast off with nothing to do and without a life to fulfil. Mr. Gray, taking note of this, brings Monitor to Spellbook's universe for the sake of challenge completion, as his universe of origin was an entirely black void anyway. Shortly after, Finley talks to Mr. Gray and says that he'll go back home for a bit, as he's tired and needs to take care of his children more, and promises he'll come back. Mr. Gray understands and allows him and Gearz to leave. Afterwards, Mr. Gray uses his orb to finally go to where he originally wanted to, Scribble's universe.

Mr. Gray talks to Scribble about the truth of the multiverse, and although he asks a lot of questions, he eventually gets it and joins Mr. Gray in his cause. Afterward, they go ahead and recruit yfiseurT and Truesify, residents of the same universe who also seems to have experience of their own when it comes to object camps. Being informed of the whole ordeal, yfiseurT joins them, but Truesify is more reluctant, denying involvement in the cause due to being tired of having to deal with the likes of anyone in his universe and anything that reminds him of them. However, Mr. Gray doesn't have any of it, beating Truesify in an albeit very short fight and forcing him to accompany them. Afterward, Mr. Gray asks where they should go now, and Green Shelly says he knows, but Mr. Gray will have to give him the orb. After a bit of convincing and unexpected intimidation coming from Green Shelly, Mr. Gray eventually gives in and hands Green Shelly the multiversal orb as he takes them to somewhere new. However, right before they leave, Spellbook mysteriously disappears, and Mr. Gray seems to be the only one to notice.

Green Shelly takes them to yet another object camp known as BFDS, where they meet Boa and stay there until they can gather info and find out more through this specific camp, as Green Shelly says. However, during the first challenge, Mr. Gray has a private conversation with yfiseurT, asking him if he saw Spellbook's disappearance. yfiseurT, saying he did see, tells Mr. Gray that Green Shelly did have the multiversal orb on him when Spellbook disappeared, so maybe he could've been the culprit, however Mr. Gray finds little reason on how Green Shelly could do such a thing, and expresses how it's just too hard to think about. yfiseurT tells Mr. Gray that they can pick up the topic another time, and he agrees, relieved that he got to have that conversation with him. The rest is soon to be revealed.
