Badb Corby
Overview
Badb isn't really close with her immediate family. They get along, but she's a bit of an outsider. The only close family tie she has is with her cousin, Keeva Donovan. After Badb found out about her identity as Onyxraven, she struggled with wanting to tell Keeva as they shared everything and thinking that something like this should be kept a secret. Eventually, she couldn't handle it. There was no one else to talk to about what she was dealing with so she told Keeva everything. At first, she was sceptical until Badb transformed in front of her. Keeva freaked out a little, but soon calmed down and accepted that this was really happening.
Keeva is very artistic, so she drew a picture of Badb in her fuku and, to show moral support for her cousin, came up with a made up senshi identity for herself--SailorOpalowl--and drew an image of that as well. They both figure that if Keeva was supposed to be a senshi she would probably have found out already. After Raven found out about the other Crystal Animamates, that clinched it. Keeva was just a civilian who happened to know Raven's secret identity, and they were both ok with that.

Badb doesn’t really get along with her family except for her cousin Keeva. 90% of her conversations with her other family members are sarcastic and brief. She considers puns to be one of the highest forms of humour.

A Raven's Awakening

Badb likes to feed the ravens that live around her house and in return, they bring her things. Usually, these objects aren't anything special: pretty rocks, pens, feathers, bits of broken jewellery they've found. One day, she was out putting food out for them when one of the ravens brought her an old, beat up pocket watch. It was covered in mud, but she accepted the gift as she always did. She took it home with her and cleaned it up. Once all the dirt was off, the bird-like design etched into its surface came clear. It felt to her like a raven, although realistically it was so stylized it could have been anything. Despite having a cell phone like every other teenager, she took to carrying the watch with her everywhere she went, hanging it on her belt. She even got the mechanisms inside fixed so it functioned as a time piece. One day, she was walking home from school and spotted some sort of weird thing attacking one of her school mates. She ducked back around the corner, freaked out. She reached into her pocket for her cell phone, but as her hand brushed against the pocket watch, it changed, the raven etching becoming gold and the brassy colour turning black with a darker blue edge. All of the sounds around her vanished. In her head, she could hear very distinct words, words that changed her life. "Raven of battle, transform me!" In place of Babh Corby stood SailorOnyxraven. She stepped out of her hiding place and fought the creature, winning her first battle as a senshi.
A Serious Upgrade

It had started off as a typical day. She slept in a little bit, but not so much that it badly disrupted her morning routine. She headed off to school, picking up her cousin, Keeva, along the way. Upon arriving at her first class of the day, however, she found that she'd forgotten about a test she was supposed to have that day and, naturally, had forgotten to study for. She left the class when the bell rang feeling like a total idiot.
Sadly, her day didn't improve much from there. For some reason, she couldn't concentrate in any of her classes and was late for her third one. That particular teacher wasn't known to be forgiving of such things so she'd been given some extra questions to do as homework.
Keeva had other things to do after school, so Badb walked home alone, grumbling to herself only to be confronted by a youma.
She looked at it for a time. Part of her really wished it would just go away while another part of her just...snapped. All the frustration and anger of her day flooded out and into her broach.
Raven noticed immediately that something was different about herself once she was done transforming. She felt heavier for one thing. She didn't really have time to figure out what was going on as the youma attacked her right away. Onyxraven let herself be as angry as she wanted to be and unleashed it on her enemy. Once that was dealt with, she took stock of the changes she was feeling.
"Huh..." she said, flapping the wings experimentally. "This is… kind of awesome."

Skills & abilities
Battle Cry
This is a sonic attack. When she uses it, she doesn't call out the attack but instead simply throws her head back and screams. Allies will hear the noise as a simple scream, but enemies will hear a debilitating shriek that lowers their defence for a couple of minutes. She can only use it a few times per battle before it loses its effectiveness. If she screams too long, it can start to affect her allies as well.
Razor Wings
She raises her right arm and makes a fist. She calls out the attack and her shoulder gems glow. She flings her arm forward, opening her fist, releasing shards of black energy that look vaguely like feathers. These feathers slice into their target. She has a minimum required distance of triple her arm span from her target to effectively use the attack and the feathers can fly for up to 15 feet before they become harmless.
