Beya is an Inuwa who was left behind by her mother. She lived in the Upperworld as a baby for a couple of months since her birth. However, she was injured and met Phoenix in Storm of the Night, the tunnel connection with Fiya'Anathi and the Upperworld. Phoenix then took her and raised her. Beya led the Guard (and Gary in particular) to victory in the battle between the Guard and the Guardians.

Beya turned out to be Phoenix' amirai after Phoenix fully became a guardian. Once, she got accidently claimed, hurting both Phoenix and herself, however, she forgave him for that. However, in a later battle, Beya was claimed with consens by Phoenix and helped with the battle.
As the war progressed, Beya's kaihi got, in a way, exploided by Phoenix while trying to close the alchemical hole. She suffered a cardiac arrest but got revided by Valentin. Even though, she suffered this injury, she is still on Phoenix' side.

After Phoenix died, Beya didn't move an inch away from his body. After her owner was burried, she forced herself into a relationship with another Inuwa (despite being very young) and got multiple babies to cope with grief.
