Motivation for traveling:
Mother wanted him to spread her ashes in different places around the world. Now he thinks she's haunting her urn, displeased he hasn’t completed this 5 years after her death
Lives in a rented wizard’s tower deep in his forest. The tower is on the edge of a valley/ravine where a great deal of the deep forest lays. Prefers to live in the tower rather than in the forest due to the beautiful view and easy access to town to sell his goods.
-his drunk wizard landlord accidentally teleported to his rented tower and enchanted the urn to always return to/follow Gym around, so he wouldn't miss his mom. Gym thinks it's his mom haunting him, unhappy her ashes haven't been spread
Works as a lumberjack and wood carver. Is very careful about which trees he cuts down, always plants two more for each one he cuts. Many trees are sacred to him, so he only cuts them for special projects or if they are sick. Prefers to use fresh found wood for firewood and common projects, will use the whole tree if he cuts one down.
Belongings:
- a large tough ceramic urn with his mother’s ashes inside. Weighs 10kg (22lb) in total. He has already spread some of the ashes, so there is some room inside. (urn itself weighs 1kg (2.2 lb), originally had 14kg (32lb) of ashes)
- A special axe that he only uses to cut trees, never for violence. Handle is made of Oak, signifying strength (or Ash, signifying life?). Also his druidic focus?
- Paired scroll with his kids so they can draw to each other. He usually sketches cute or cool things he sees for them. If he needs to speak with their mother, he’ll draw an exclamation point in the corner. Either she’ll answer, or one of the kids will draw an X to signal she isn’t there
- Weapon/battle axe with a handle of Yew, signifying death and rebirth
Adopted and trained a corgi mix that weighs 10kg(22lb).
