Profile

Lioht is not a human how he appears to be but a creature called Vuddais. They are ghost like beings who originally come from the non physical world. They are unstable in the physical realm thats why they copy the bodies of humanoids they come across, to fit in. They don’t have their own consciousness but gain one once they copy a body. They awake confused with no memories or clue whats going on. Since they mainly copied a body they dont physically age. There are different kinds that vary in abilities. Lioht is a white Vuddais, he can take on a semi ghostly form where he can walk through walls or anything physical in general and cant be hurt by physical attacks. Magic can still harm him. Additionally, which is exclusive to white Vuddais, he can see ghosts and experiences very brief visions of future events every once in a while.

Backstory

Lioht was found in the forest alone and confused by King Trahern Vitomir of the Kingdom called Relien, who was out hunting. He took him back to the castle and town. Lioht lived there for many years, became a page for one of the knighs and became a knight himself after many years of training. Because of his ability to predict future events the king soon found out the truth about what Lioht actually is. He never told him this however, to protect him from an existential crisis and to use him for his own benefits. Since Lioht was naive he could be formed to be a perfect and loyal personal guard for the King. Lioht served him for many years and the two became friends over time. One day Lioht experienced visions of the kings death, and only weeks later the town and castle got attacked by people who where after the kings life. Lioht and Trahern barricaded themselves in the throne room. Trahern knew what the people wanted from him. He gave Lioht an ancient key that had been in the possession of the royal family for centuries. He never told him what the key was for, only that he must protect it with his life. Lioht fled with only his horse and the armor he wore that day, followed by a group of soldiers. Lioht managed to outrun them and disappeared into the forest.

While on the run, Lioht met a man named Finn in a tavern. The two got into an argument about honour which ended in a brawl where Lioht broke Finns nose. The two got immediately thrown out of the tavern. A few people followed them outside, they were the soldiers that were after Lioht. They recognised Finn as one of their own, and said he must die for deserting the army. The people attacked the two who fought for their life. Finn almost got stabbed in the back but Lioht saved him in the last moment. While their attackers were on the ground the two fled on their horses into the forest. They weren’t fond of each other but recognised that they had a better chance of survival and fleeing to the neighbouring kingdom, if they worked together.

Personality
