♡ Yona ♡

[ sister's ] 

Yona is the younger twin sister of Amaya, and because of this Amaya feels a great deal of love and affection towards her. Amaya tends to be incredibly protective of her little sister, often pushing herself in front of the girl or simply holding her arm up. The two of them spent almost their entire childhood together, constantly playing with one another. Yona loved to braid Amaya's hair, putting it into many different hairstyles, as well as practice make up on her. Amaya, of course allowed her to do all of this as all she wanted was to keep her sister happy. 

Amaya knows of Yona's feelings towards Soo-Won, and although she despises the man and would never allow them to be together, she respects Yona's feelings in general and she would never tell her to give them up. Likewise, Yona is very aware of Amaya's feelings for Shin-Ah and is constantly teasing her about the two of them. 

After the sisters had to abandon the palace, their home, they grew much closer to one another. You can usually find them practicing their respective weapons and skills together late at night. They love to help each other.

♡ Hak ♡

[ best friend's ] 

Amaya has known Hak for most of her life, the two of them quickly becoming friends after their first meeting. Amaya was first drawn towards him after seeing his fighting skills, and because of this she respects him quite a bit as she wishes to be as strong as him one day.

When the two of them are alone together, they can become quite the troublemakers. Hak tends to bring out the more mischievous side of Amaya, as they often play practical jokes on not only a few of the handmaidens, but Yona as well. Everyone is okay with this though, as they all find it very amusing. Yona however, usually ends up being very irritated when she is the main victim.

♡ Shin-Ah ♡

Amaya's first interaction with Shin-Ah was while he was still isolated in the caves of Village of Seiryuu. Almost instantly the two feel a connection to one another, feeling comfortable in each other's prescence. The first time she sees him, is when one of the villagers attempts to attack her, and he saves her from harm. 

Since Shin-Ah is usually a very quiet, and guarded individual, Amaya basically makes it her mission to make him comfortable. Usually she'll hold his hand, as it offers him a sense of comfort. Their relationship develops rather quickly, which they'll learn later on has to do with their previous reincarnation's, as they were also together.

♡ Ao♡

[ partner ] 

Ao is the partner and animal companion of Shin-Ah, but after he becomes close to Amaya Ao quickly warms up to her. He can usually be seen sitting on Amaya's shoulder, sometimes nuzzling into her hair as he does.
