A rather simple yet brilliant boy, Keaton enjoys his time designing and modifying robotics and prosthetics. He's rather coy about things, despite his nerdiness, and feels old-fashioned when it comes to life. If it was popular before the 1900s, he's probably interested. He also collects stickers for his wheelchair and prosthetics.

Youth
When Keaton was a toddler, his parents didn't bother to properly strap in the booster seat, excusing themselves as 'safe enough' drivers. After this happened multiple times, the family got into a car accident, which resulted in their youngest son having his legs crushed and nearly fully severed in addition to a traumatic head injury that made him much more dependent for some years.
Growing Up
As Keaton began to find his plce, he came to find he thrived most with STEM subjects, taking it upon himself to use what he learned on his prosthetics to design a multitude of new and innovative prosthetics...even if most proved to be failures. from feather-light hoverboard-like to heavy jumping-oriented prosthetics, he has a collection of his successes and failures proudly displayed in his room.
Currently
Ever proud to show off his creations, Keaton gladly shows off where he can, be it various fairs or robotics competitions. in due time, he proved himself to even NASA at one of these fairs, invited to an internship through his junior and senior years of high school. He looks forward to this, spending his free time continuing to try and find new ways to impress them. Frequently, he goes to work with doctors to work on replicating prosthetics he's succeeded with in better versatility for widespread use. In his future, he hopes to find someone he likes and have a family just as any other person would.
Family
Keaton has been the envy of his older brother, Everin, for years, despite the opposite also being true. Keaton has a wonderful social circle, great grades and achievements, and seems to have a good future ahead of him. Everin, on the other hand, has questionable friends, cheats his grades, and is lost with his future. It creates an odd dynamic for them, but they care a lot for each other in their parents stead. Their mom, once a problematic low class woman, turned herself around after the accident that disabled Keaton, now working as an immigrations officer and creating a lot of family-friend bonds. Their dad, also once problematic, still is concerningly pathetic to them - a drunk that seems to use his regret and remorse as an excuse to get worse than a reason to get better.
