Auline was always a loner and was very much that weird kid who was reading fel and void tomes despite undergoing priest training. She was always defensive about her interests and eventually became an outcast and got used to no one liking or trusting her. Auline is slowly opening up to the few she trusts but she's still abrasive to others.

Summary
Auline was always an outcast. Her proclivity toward darkness determined that. The only voice who ever talked to her were the whispers of the void. She eventually followed Magister Umbric and his cult following of void-obsessed blood elves to the void, where they transformed into the pale, edgy, tentacle-haired beings they are today.
She took this transformation and welcoming to the Alliance as a sign to get out of her books and explore. The shadow priest found her way toward Darnassus and the night elf people - she was fascinated by their affinity for the night and nature. Auline was always curious and studious, after all. One day, she wandered into the den of a sleeping druid who was away in the Emerald Dream and accidentally woke her up... and they lived happily ever after.

- She studied holy magic but delved into the void stuff on the side, making her a formidable discipline priest if she wanted to ever do holy magic again.
