The youngest member of SHIOZAKE that was only really added by Mr. Grizz after a lot (and I mean a LOT) of begging, Chippu had to work really hard to get on the level of his teammates. Often worried that he was "bringing them down", he overcompensated with a highly competitive, mega-high energy persona. However, after nearly getting his team splatted because of his brash behavior, they had a group heart to heart where he laid out his insecurities when it came to being so young and surrounded by people "better" than him. Rather than swap him out for someone with more of a team-oriented attitude, SHIOZAKE kept Chippu on the roster and have worked with him to be the best they can be.

While still not as "good" as his teammates, they treat him like a little brother and firmly disagree with anyone that says he should be booted in favor of someone new. He's not without skill, and is definitely competent enough to be on the team. He just needs to learn when to charge and when to fall back and work together as a team.
