Cherie's code was accidentally uploaded into a 50s-themed diner order kiosk, leaving the fledgling Virusyte confused and overwhelmed by the sheer amount of humans using the device. She decided to hide herself away and watch, waiting for the perfect host. After a while, Cherie started to enjoy the aesthetic of the diner and would often hack into the system to play her favorite songs over the jukebox, or to shuffle the employees' schedules around so she could keep tabs on the ones she considered optimal hosts.

She eventually narrowed her options down to one and set a trap to snare them when they went to clock in for their shift. Unfortunately, they'd switched with a coworker last minute, and Cherie ended up making eye contact with the wrong person. All of her plans went up in smoke - and she's been sulking in the system ever since.

Personality

At first glance, Cherie seems standoffish. At second glance - she still is. She prefers her own company over that of others, and whenever she's forced to interact with other Virusytes, she's snappy and brusque. There's rumors that she likes humans better than her own kind, which may or may not be true. Even if it is, it's hard to tell, since Cherie treats them much the same way, considering them to be nuisances. The customers that come to the diner, at least - she's vaguely fond of the employees and enjoys eavesdropping on their conversations. Oh, and playing the same song over the jukebox for the tenth time in a row.

Trivia

• Thinks the concept of milk/milk products (like ice cream) is gross. What do you mean humans drink animal juice.
• She's mildly obsessed with Little Richard and will play his songs on loop over the jukebox. It drives everyone nuts but they can't figure out why it keeps glitching.
• Has a whole virtual roller-rink set up in the system (there's a disco ball).
