-Monitor is a robot who's name explains its purpose. After a murder case in the area was found to be connected to MIAOU and Mew, Monitor was created in order to keep a close watch on the both of them.

-They were created with the same exact process used to make MIAOU, with a recently deceased human soul powering their systems and granting them sentience. Unlike MIAOU however, Monitor was not abandoned by its creator, and instead was taught strictly positive emotions by their creators, with the intention of making it easier for Monitor to get on MIAOU's good side.

-Unfortunately, MIAOU has been skeptical of Monitor since they day he introduced himself to them, especially with the mention of his name literally telling MIAOU all of his intentions. Monitor seems oblivious to the definition of his name however, and says they only want to become the best of friends with them!

-In order for the past to not repeat itself, Monitor has a inhibitor chip inside of their body that limits the abilities of their sentience. While they do manage to experience a slightly wider range of emotions than MIAOU, this bit of programming only allows them to feel and express them to a very limited amount. Often they will come off as upbeat and cheery, even if they are delivering the worst of news.

-Monitor ends up learning his first negative emotions from MIAOU. Despite him only being able to display them in a very limited way, he still feels them to the fullest extent.

-They have an extremely wide range of faces and expressions. Each emotion they experience, even if on a low level, brings about a new face (in a new art style) entirely on their screen. Though their body and face do have full RGB lighting, Monitor's face will only display white, purple, and rarely red pixels.
