About

The son of a high ranking family in Makino, corruption began slowly for Kijin. His family, deeply entrenched in the inner city ideals of purging corruption from their home, attempted to "fix" their seemingly broken heir, only served to push him further past the gaze of Herne's light. Before word spread of his transformation, the heads of the estate mysteriously and tragically were found dead, and Kijin took over as head of the estate. The family's busniness quickly began to switch gears overnight, and their trades became secrets, with only a select few ever seeing Kijin in person. It wasn't until much later that whispers began to disperse among the public that there was something much daker at play with with the formerly very public faunid, and his true nature wasn't revealed until he stopped one of Makino's infamous executions, now huge and warped, taking the axe from the headsman before making a display of dispatching him to the crowd. No longer would corrupts need to fear the axe, as Kijin would become the executioner of executioners. His estate had been transformed into a safe haven for corrupts and suspected corrupts persued by the cultlike faunids of Makino, and Kijin their savior.
