Introduction

Living in an overgrown town in Evergrave is an enchantress nymph known as Khione, notoriously named ‘The Witch of Evergrave’ by scared travelers passing through the mountains. With the power to control and shape water, she can briefly personify the spirits of Evergrave as creatures made of water - letting her communicate with the otherwise long-gone beings of Hellreach. As thanks for their ability to revisit the overworld after death through Khione’s magic, the spirits of Evergrave are often willing to lend her their strength and help her fight when she needs their assistance. With her unique powers she protects the mountains close by Evergrave from hostile creatures and beings, a protector to the spirits; yet a terrifying witch to most of the outside world.

Appearance and Personality

Within just the first few seconds of seeing her, you can tell that Khione has a strong connection to water. On her arms, legs, chest and top part of her face, her skin fades to a green-blue color. Her ears are more pointy than humans, like an elf, and they’re both pierced. When out of the water, she typically wears blue clothes which don’t restrict her movement much, as well as a necklace made of pearls. Her hair is blue, and swept to one side with the other side shaved.

She is very protective of her town and the spirits living in it, and they are equally as protective back to her. However, she is not very good at interactions with people. When she tells people off for coming too close, they only ever seem to take it as an attack - and then reacting as such. Due to this, Khione no longer tries to interact with people and simply stays either by herself or in the company of the spirits of Evergrave.
