Introduction

Deep within the depths of Hellreach you might catch a glimpse of a shadowy figure, traveling the deadly waters of the Cursed River on a simple wooden longboat. The brave souls searching for a way back to the overworld after their passing all know the tales about her - the Guardian of Hellreach, one of the most talented duelists throughout the history of Aymenia, and the person standing between them and their dream to see the light of day again. Keila was once known as the Golden child of Crownhawk, a prodigy who fled the region in an attempt to find freedom. But doomed to a cruel fate, she could never truly be at peace as soldiers from Crownhawk were endlessly sent to hunt her down. But the day she meant to be her last, she was offered a freedom found nowhere else as she made a deal with the devil, King Vex of the Afterlife. Appointed as the Guardian of Hellreach, she stands as the final duel to prove that you’re worthy of a life renewed. And the answer, she has found, is that very few people are.

Appearance and Personality

Keila has black hair down to just below her ears, with a small braid that runs over the hair at her forehead. Her clothes are dark red, blue, and black, and she doesn’t wear shoes. On one side of her hip, she has the skulls of various monsters and beasts she has slain, proudly displayed and held in place by a few ropes. Her eyes are red, and she has many scars across her body, though the most notable one is a big scar by her left eye.

Keila is a very confident and talented woman, in more ways than just her martial talent - though that is undoubtedly her biggest one. Over her many years as the guardian of Hellreach, she has grown to be very comfortable in this role, and takes great pride in the reputation it has given her - both within Hellreach as well as the Overworld. Many find her to be intimidating, and she doesn’t do small talk much unless it’s with a person she is comfortable with.
