Nyx

Nyx, not growing up around humans, acts quite nervous among most people, only truly being comfortable with the people ze call family. Ze are obsessed with things many humans would consider common, collecting various curiosities and trinkets.

As an Enderfolk, Nyx has teleportation up to 30 ft away (this can also be triggered by being scared) and has invisibility for short periods of time. Ze also have extreme sight in the dark and heightened energy and find it easy to escape scenarios. However , they also have weakness to water as zir skin burns upon impact.

Born in a place with no humans, Nyx never got the opportunity to learn about the human way of life or anything of the sort. Ze had a pleasant life in their home dimension, with two loving mothers. However, when war ravaged the lands, zir mothers planned to escape to the human realm. Zir mothers, unfortunately, never made it, sending Nyx to the human realm alone to find a peaceful life.
It took a long time of searching in the human realm until they found a place to call home, generally being an outcast of human society.
