Description: Delphinus is a lonely soul who hides his sorrows under a mask of fun and uncaring behavior. He often makes desisions that give momentary joy and has trouble working on longer standing, healtheir habits. He is much more soft hearted than he leads others to believe, and has gained a caring side from his friends over the years.

☽ Physical ☾
Description: Delphinus is a dark elf with obsidian skin that has luminesent, almost star like freckles. His hair is pure white and curly; he makes sure to take care of it well. Delphinus' body is very thin due to his poor eating habits. His long ears droop down some. Delphinus' eyes are completley white. He has two tattoos on his back, one of the moon and stars and another of a moth.

☽ Story ☾
Backstory: Delphinus was born after his mother, a priestess, had an affair with a man who had visited the temple of the moon for solace. He did not stay, though, so she was left to raise the child on her own with the other sisters of the temple. It was strange for a male to stay within the more secretive parts of the temple of the moon, but Delphinus was an exeption. In his younger years he was raised as all the other sisters of the moon were, though never failed to feel somewhat out of place. His mother was cold to him, and the sisters never really saw Delphinus as their equal.
He wished to see the rest of the island of Lunaria beyond the reaches of the moon goddeses domain, but his mother would not allow it. This did little to stop him, though. So as a teen, Delphinus would sneak out to party amongst the rich and the poor. Over time though, he ended up coming back less and less. After one night where Delphinus fell into one of the temple's pools and almost drowned, he had an explosive fight with his mother, ending in him leaving the temple and never returning.
Delphinus never really found a stable home after this. He would stay with friends or his latest lover, making coin doing entertainment in bars and romancing nobles. This lasted for some time until he found his way into the kings eyes, becoming a lover of his for money until the queen found out. In a state of sadness and rage, she told him if he was ever found again in Lunaria she would have his head.
Delphinus escaped the island with two of his friends, Maro and Duskryn. They traveled together in a wagon where Maro would help the locals and Duskryn would sell his goods. It was during this time that Delphinus learned to sew and started to make his own clothes. Eventually, complications led to Maro and Delphinus taking a different path than Duskryn.
To the pairs horror, when they met up with their friend again, he had been turned into a vampire. Distraught, Delphinus turned to drinking again during this time of trying to take care of the shell that was left of his friend. When Maro dissapeared he was left with little support, but made a strange companion in a red haired knight, who helped him gain confidence again after having what little he liked about himself being ruined by a fae. He would tell tales about the floating islands to this knight, when he missed his homeland.
Many years later, Delphinus was caught by Lunarian soldiers, who to his surprise were looking for him due to charges given against the harm of Lunaria's people and trying to kill the monarchy, neither of which he had done. The dark elf was thrown in prison for these claims, and left there to rot.
Present: Delphinus ended up escaping his cell with another prisoner, who happened to be a member of Lunaria's rebellion, The Lunar Moth Coven. Grateful to them, he ended up joining the rebellion and has been staying with them ever since, hoping to get back at the monarchy who had ruined his life. Even though he resents the temple, he has stayed a devout follower of the moon goddess, seeing her as a mother figure much more than his own.
