Omi

A father of three and a devoted husband, Omi was a Hocotatian scout that traveled through space, doing reconnaissance on safe pathways and distant planets. He was very dedicated to his job and worked well past the typical retirement age, much to the frustration of his daughters and his wife. However, he loved his work and encouraged the rest of his family to find whatever job brought them the most joy. Although he would spend a lot of time away from home, he would spend an equal amount of time with his family, trying to stay as involved as he could despite his busy lifestyle.

He worked for the "Four Corner Recon Squad," as Captain North, a name his granddaughter would later use. Around the age of 62, he went on one last recon mission, one that would take him further from Hocotate than normal. There, he found the planet that would later be known as PNF-404, where the planet's gravitational pull and surrounding debris made him crash into the planet.

He perished in the crash, barely having a chance to so much as send out a distress signal. As a result, no one knew what happened to him for the next 23 years, until he was found by his granddaughter, Frankie.

He woke up later as a Purple Pikmin, his memories hazy. He had a hard time recalling who, or what, he was, or how he even got there. Although he fell in line with the other Pikmin, he always felt out of place. It took him those 23 years to fully remember what he was. He painfully misses his family, but sees his crew of Pikmin as such, now. He guards them jealously.

He leads a band of Pikmin and has a multi-colored onion that he uses to travel around. With his bright, Hocotation mind, and his impeccable purple strength, he has helped his Pikmin thrive and survive over the many years he's lived on PNF-404.
