Becquerel's Links
Having not had any new company for decades, Becquerel immediately took a liking to Wesley. He doesn't like being bullied but puts up with it in the hope that it'll make it more likely for Wesley to stay and not go away. He showers them with plenty of affection and can't help coddling them at times.
Wesley thinks Becquerel is tolerable company. The guy is friendly and generous, but that also makes Wesley want to annoy him to stretch out his limits. Really dislikes it when he treats them like a child though. Secretly appreciates the attention.
Old friends. Becquerel is usually too dense to pick up on Isabell's snarky remarks so he doesn't understand why others aren't fond of her company. He finds her (brutal) honesty to be a good thing and weirdly admires how protective she acts over the things she cares about.
Isabell has known the guy for a long time now and still can't get a good read of his personality. She insists he's just someone she hasn't been able to rid the company of. In reality, she acknowledges him as being stronger than her and is grateful that she wasn't ousted from her cave when Becquerel first came to the area. Still wishes he'd get a clue though.
Becquerel really enjoys Lucia's company, he feels like he could sit down and talk with her for hours upon end. He is mindful of her more volatile side so he rarely ventures out into the fields of her territory, worried about his own clumsiness. Nevertheless, Lucia is always welcome in Becquerel's home.
