(My main character in our one-shot DnD group. The basic setting is that our characters are actually studying in an Institute for Newbie Adventurer's and the quests are commissions for the institute.)

Long story short, Lykky ended up in the institute after being kicked away from his home where he used to work as support staff in his house's army, but the young Drow was known to be a trouble due to his clumsiness and everything else than a warrior spirit. And on top of that, he's dead scared of spiders. For a community who serves the Queen of Spiders, such a member was a shame. The priestesses of the Eilsafin house actually saw him pathetic enough that they were afraid that sacrificing Lykky to Lolth might have been seen as blasphemy, so he was given a choice. Either run away as fast as you could, or be killed.
For a person who has troubles making decisions, Lykky decided to run rather quickly.
Surviving through the dangers of the Underdark all alone while being a rather pacifist soul who preferably runs away screaming while facing danger than trying to protect himself, Baeldyn later got the nickname "Lykky".
At the Institute, he is well known about his shy and cowardly personality, and was frowned upon for quite a while. When he and his "classmates" had made a few adventures together, a few of them have slowly started to respect him a tad more for his will to help others (and since he knows the Cure Wounds spell, lol.) Lykky himself has troubles handling social interactions and still thinks himself worthless basing his experiences to the times when he still lived in the Drow society.
Lykky preferably avoids fighting, and if ending up in a conflict he first relies to his magical abilities (Dancing Lights and Levitate) in order to confuse the enemies than picking up a weapon.
He has some kind of bond to the nature, and thus decided to take the path of a Ranger. And he is definitely a person who apologizes even rocks if he happens to stumble on one. Lykky basically never gets angry with anyone, and he has a rather odd sense of moral. He prefers to be as nice and polite as he can but he neither sees the ways of his people as "wrong". For him, the Underdark Drows do what Drows do and he just knows those ways didn't suit him, even if he tried to do his best to fit in.
Besides of not seeing well in direct sunlight, he also has troubles telling red and green apart, but haven't ever been told about a thing called "color blindness" (protanopia).
His beast companion (and mental support) is an Almiraj-like horned bunny with silver fur and dragonfly-like wings on it's back.
Likes: Nature, night sky, freedom, fluffy animals that don't want to eat him.
Dislikes: Spiders, being in the center of attention, loud noises.
Has a love-and-hate -relationship to sunlight.
