Former life

Rosso was a sorcerer, more specifically a pyromancer. Unlike many other magicians however, Rosso didn’t use it for combat, other than self defence or power. Rosso was in fact a performer of sorts. He entertained in taverns and towns, displaying his fire abilities to amuse the crowd.

He met his demise in a fire accident. One night during one of his performances an aggravated guard entered the tavern, demanding the show to stop. He had a distaste for magicians and sorcerers, and wanted him out immediately. Rosso however didn’t listen to the guard and continued to entertain a young lady that was sitting by the stage.

The guard was furious and threw a bottle of alcohol at the pyromancer, which exploded into a curtain of raging flames as it came in contact with Rosso’s magic. The whole tavern stood ablaze in just minutes, and scared people rushed out of the exits. Rosso however never made it out himself, he perished as he tried to escort the young lady out of the building.
