Name Meaning & Origin
Named after the 58-foot high column in The Throne Room at Kartchner Caverns, which was itself named after a poem about the Mongolian General.
Uses the correct spelling of Kublai Khan, rather than the column and poem's actual, incorrect spelling of Kubla Khan.
Please forgive the paragraph here, my intention was not to be pretentious, but to make sure my goldfish brain doesn't forget what's going on here. It took a while for me to find out why they're spelled differently.
