Monty is the groups translator due to her gift that allows her to speak to hooved animals. A hunt can not take place without her, because she is the only wolf able to confidently identify what animals are not within their alliance, even though the pack avoids deer and elk in most situations. She frequently travels from Willowpea Down, to the Doe Burrow herd and stays overnight at ether. She is in a relationship with one of the elk there, though she is not against having pups with suitable males in the hopes of passing on her gift.
