Vesper is a very outgoing and boisterous individual who likes spending time with friends and meet new people. He rarely spends time alone, because he tends to mentally spiral when he does so. He gets drained after long periods of time with people, so he needs the occasional alone time, but also gets worn out without people, due to his mental health problems.
He's frequently joking and messing around, and uses humour as a coping mechanism. Isn't afraid to make jokes about himself or his health.
They're typically pretty confident and self assured, but when their mental health takes a toll on them, they can be much more self depreciating and insecure.
Struggles with PTSD, dissociation, hallucinations, self depreciation and insomnia. Despite all nyr outward energy, ne's actually frequently tired.

Teleportation
He's able to
teleport short distances. It must be somewhere he can see in front of
him in order for him to teleport to it. Teleportation takes up some of
his energy, so he can only do it so many times before he gets worn out
and isn't able to teleport anymore. When he teleports, green sparkles
float around him.
Nightvision
He can see in the
dark, regardless of light level. His eyes glow in the darkness.
Swordsmanship
They're actually
pretty good at using a sword, but their lack of properly strategizing
and their bad luck holds them back a bit.
Enderman Communication
Can
communicate with other enderman through both verbal speech and with
body language.

Story
Home
Vesper lives in a small cabin in a snowy spruce forest, in a small village known as Sprucewood. His cabin is warm and cozy and typically dimly lit. He has a lot of blankets and various trinkets he's found that he thinks are interesting scattered about, and a large collection of button ups and some sunglasses.
He lives with his two partners, Tybalt and Tynan.
Daily Life
Vesper spends most of his time wandering the vast wilderness, visiting various cities, and mingling with the locals in Sprucewood. He knows all of them by name, and considers himself on good terms with most of them.
He enjoys collecting various trinkets that he finds interesting; whether it be random knick knacks he found in a store or a cool rock he found outside.
Backstory
As a teenager, Vesper witnessed the brutal slaughter of many of his kind due to an ongoing war, family and friend alike. His home village, Y'nd, was raided and residents murdered ruthlessly, without care or mercy. He managed to escape the slaughter, but not without witnessing the horrors and baring some wounds himself.
After his home village was destroyed, he spent a long time wandering aimlessly, lost in the horrors of what had happened to him. It took him a very long time to even begin recovery, though he thinks the change in scenery and lack of responsibilities helped him in relaxing and putting his past behind him.
A long time later, after he had more or less learned to deal with his trauma, Vesper eventually settled down in Sprucewood. This village was located in a snowy spruce forest, and was mostly home to humans, though there were a few other species living there as well. When he first moved to the village, some of the residents were wary of him due to his race, but eventually they grew used to him and even fond of him due to his charismatic and humourous personality.
While he's not as dramatically affected by the destruction of Y'nd as he was right after it happened, his past still haunts him to this day. He can't seem to help that whenever he's left alone, the memories come flooding back...

Tybalt • Partner
Vesper and Tybalt spend a lot of time together, doing whatever is on their minds. They're often out of the house, visiting various places around Sprucewood or even visiting other nearby towns and cities. Their loud energy often bounces off of each other and causes the other to get even more energetic. They're very playful and joking around each other.
When the two first met, they clicked right away, and have been basically inseparable since.
Tynan • Boyfriend
Vesper and Tynan enjoy each other's company in the more quiet times. Tynan often stays near Vesper when they need some recharging time, and his quiet company helps Vesper from not spiraling so much without getting overwhelmed by interaction. Vesper often goes to Tynan when they have a question, especially if the topic is one of Tynan's interests.
Tynan wasn't very fond of Vesper when the two first met, but over time grew closer to him. Now he finds Vesper a bit exasperating at times but still very endearing.
Tynan really likes that Vesper is taller than him...
