A princess from a fallen nation intended to be part of a fabula ultima campaign. Her kingdom was conquered by the holy nation of Alfheim and she was left the sole survivor of the royal family, her younger brother and parents slaughtered and the imperial guard sacrificing the bulk of their troops to ensure she escaped safely. As a result she is wracked with survivor's guilt and walks the world in her worn black armor, enemies relentlessly pursuing her, and while she doesn't consider herself worthy of life she cannot bear to let her people's sacrifice go in vain,

Despite being the elder of two siblings, her nation was still somewhat conservative in tradition, and so the birth of her younger brother marked her as 2nd in line to inheriting her father's rule. Callisto was outwardly a good sport about this and acted happy to relinquish the crown to her younger brother, but in reality she was deeply resentful and bitter about the decision. In a misguided attempt to sway the people's favor she threw herself into military training and became a general, praying that displays of her strength would lead to the possibility of her being acknowledged as a potential leader. However, embodying military strength and embracing a more masculine side of herself bore no fruit. This led to a hidden hatred towards her younger brother, and an inferiority complex borne out of the realization that his sharp wit and excellent skills in diplomacy truly made him a better fit to rule than she.

Come the fall of the royal family and her inability to save anyone her already poor self image worsened as grief and guilt consumed her. She'll never forgive herself for not cherishing her family and subordinates as she should've and longs to do right by their memories but doesn't know how.

Worse still, the girl she loved, Elaine, was part of the imperial guard and was last seen standing with the rest of the troops as they tried to protect Callisto. According to rumors all soldiers either died or were reported as missing following the tragedy.
