About
One of the most cheerful and energetic guy in the group. Nikko comes from an unusual mixed-species family, being even more unusual result of their relation. This taught him to accept loads of weirdness in his life, and how to be open to even the most bizarre ideas. Raised on a beautiful tropical island, he had both the wilder part and the holiday resort parts of it, just waiting for him to play. This made him enjoy being outdoors a lot, and grew a passion for almost all kinds of water sports, especially surfing. Other than that, he loves music and playing drums, that fits perfectly to full of energy creature. Always optimistic, open, ready to have fun.
Magic
Nikko, as a magic-user, has learned many types and forms of it, but mostly just in bits or on a beginner level. His main and most fluent form of magic is energy control, with electricity as the most natural one. He can at ease control and generate huge amounts of electricity, sometimes running more like a battery than a living creature. Yet he always tries to avoid that due to its unpleasant side effects, both overcharge and discharge. Nikko can as well control "clear" magic energy, but it's less natural to him and needs more concentration to be used well. The energy, no matter the type, always shows up as mint-colored, shiny cloud/fog alike mass, that can be shaped into any shape Nikko can think of. The detail on its form depends only on the dog's imagination and practice.
Background
Nikko comes from the world, where anthropomorphized animals are a race created by humans. An only child of a bunny and mutant canine, pretty a surprise for many among his world. Since his first days to mid-teens, Nikko was living on the private island that belongs to his parents. With one coast wild, only their house present, the other one filled with small houses being part of vacation resort. As the son of owners, he was always around there, helping staff and simply being cheerful soul. During summer he had a lot of fun there, almost living among guests and having fun with their children. When the guests were off the island, Nikko practiced his magic gift, energy control. Coming from the non-magic world, he kept it away from other’s knowledge to avoid more dangerous curiosity. Years passed, and Nikko grew in paradise-like settings up to his mid-teens. The whole thing changed when he entered one of the caves, located on miniature islands around his home. The cave turned out to end with a portal leading to another world. This way he ended up in the Emptiness, place between the worlds. Luckily Nikko found there Lurid University, a school of magic. Having little to no option, he joined it. With time he loved the place so much, that stayed for years, learning how to master his kind of magic, trying others, meeting lots of other, magical creatures, and having many weird adventures.
