Summer Sun Lion

The Summer Sun Lion always dances into town when summer starts and doesn't leave till summer ends. The head bobbles around, mouth gaping for some roars here and there, googly eyes bobbing up and down. It's clear someone is inside the costume, but don't they get tired? Who are they? Why do they do this? Is this dance really important? The Summer Sun Lion is a bit of a cryptid, and usually only speaks in cryptic sayings when one does talk to them. You can follow the dancer as he trails off into fall, tired from all the dancing. Though no one has managed to keep an eye on him the full time. It's clear this is important to whoever this is, and maybe the lion is passed down from generation to generation in a family.
