If there was a "most likely to survive the zombie apocalypse" yearbook award at Warner-Grossman high school, Keenan Chase would have won that award in a landslide. A 4 star wide reciever prospect (for American football), Keenan might be one of, if not the best athelete in the school's history. He had several D1 college offers and professional aspirations before it was all ruined by the end of the world. He is also Cody's best friend and spend coutless hours practicing together. His talent and success on an otherwise lackluster football squad made him a celebrity in the hallways of Warner-Grossman high school and one of the most popular kids in school.

Despite his athletic success and popularity, Keenan's home life was not quite as rosy. Born to drunken, abusive parents, he had a rough childhood growing up. He got into sports simply to spend as much time possible outside of the house. While he is highly ambitious and competitve, his family was perfectly content with binging Jersey Housewives on TV all day. Keenan hates this more than any abuse, as he despises what he views as laziness. Money was always tight as well, and Keenan often had to raise his own money to get to practice each morning.

Growing up in this way Chase became very independent, and learned how to survive and accomplish things on his own. He's a natural leader who can take charge of any situation. He's organized and effiecient at time management. He tries to get his studies in as he values education, but it takes a back seat to football practice so his grades are passable but subpar. Given his athletic prowess however most teachers are thrilled to let it slide as long as he puts in effort. Most of the time he keeps a friendly and cheerful demeanor towards all students, though he's especially friends with the other members of the football team.

However he can have a short temper at times, and can get easily frustrated when he feels that others aren't putting in the same level of work he is. Due to the high workloak he's often stressed out, which can lead to aggressive behavior. He is highly competitive and hates losing. He's a workaholic who's never heard the words "metal health day" He doesn't tolerate any sort of laziness, espcecially from himself.

When the zombie outbreak happened he was in the gymnasium watching the cheerleaders practice with several of his football buddies. On the other side of the gym were the theater club students rehearsing for the school play. He, along with the other students managed to barricade the gymnasium doors in time to save themselves, but only temporarily as the outbreak raged across the rest of the school.

He immediately took on a leadership role within the group, organizing the students and arming them with bats and other sports equipment. After several hours of camping out, however, he realized they needed to get out of the school. They were convinced that help lay just outside the city, and the government would be able to rescue them if they could only get there. With Keenan taking the lead they hatched a daring escape plan, sneaking out through the back doors into the zombie infested city.

It was here that Keenan realized a very unfortunate truth. While he alone could easily smash his way through a zombie horde and escape, the 20 other students and teachers with him were pretty much useless. While he and the other jocks tried their best to protect everyone and keep them together, many of them fell behind or were bitten. Only a handful of them (including Keenan) survived the brutal journey, reaching a frieghtyard and stowing away on one of the last frieght trains leaving the city. This devastated Keenan, who blamed himself for not being able to protect everyone. He would always wonder what happened to Cody and some of the other students who didn't escape with him.

Physical notes:

- Spots are random, have fun with patterns and such as long as it's basic cheetah pattern. But feel free to experiment with size/pattern etc. He does have 2 black stripes running down his back

- Outfit can be ripped/torn/stained if it's post outbreak. He can also be drawn with or without his football helmet. He does have a baseball bat that he bashes zombies with.

- Bandages are post-outbreak only, but whether it covers all of his arms or only part of them is up to the artist
