Riley

From the age of 12, he had intense gender dysphoria and came out to his parents at the age of 14; which didn't go well at all. Facing constant misgendering, misnaming, and violent physical and emotional abuse from both parents, Riley decided the best thing to do was to run away at the age of 17 during his final year of highschool. With only a backpack packed, he took to the streets or random friends' houses between school days. Sometimes he'd hide in the back of the school until the next morning. This was until his older brother Mitch moved out of home at the age of 22. Mitch welcomed Riley into his home with open arms. After 3 months apart, the two finally lived together again.

Riley currently lives with his older brother in a rundown part of town. Accompanying them is Mitch's girlfriend and her girlfriend. Both girls are caught up in the illegal street drug business. The house is crawling with drugs. Riley continues to do his education despite all this, but it gets hard to study for an exam when there's random people partying while completely high. It was better than his parents home.

Riley spends a lot of his time with Mitch, gaming and talking. Mitch respects Riley's gender, and in fact helped him buy his first binder. It's a rule in the house that if someone refuses to respect Riley, they're out.

Riley spends his alone time reading biology books, studying, drawing, or skateboarding. Despite his circumstances, he aspires to improve his life and make a living. He earns money on the side by working at a local bakery twice a week. He also sells computer parts on the side, or fixes them for classmates.

He is currently dating Jinx, a delinquent jackal heavily involved in drugs and crime. He is 25 years old. Riley and Jinx met at Riley's house, as he was one of Mitch's friends who came over to sell weed. He's also Mitch's girlfriend's dealer (which, funny enough, was how Mitch met his girlfriend and his girlfriend's girlfriend). Riley lost his virginity to Jinx that night he came over, and Riley was enamored by Jinx's past, his attitude, his everything.

Riley has done weed on the occasion, but avoids it mostly to focus on school. Mitch and Jinx admire Riley's determination to not fall down "this path".
