Twister is a Head Hunter of her colony, one of the best around, in fact. She is notorious for her short temper, and it is said that she is fiercer than an actual twister.

During the events of Fern's story, Twister is certain that Myco, the fungi researcher, is wasting the colony's time. She is Myco's enemy and is determined to keep her from bringing ruin to Queendom Wren.
